Monday!

Happy Monday everyone!  This is my first blog and I hope you learn a little about me.  It is beautiful here in Buffalo.  Super sunny and warm.  we have waited so long for this!  This morning started great.  I was woken up by my daughter telling me she was hongy (hungry).  We threw on our gym clothes and out the door we went.  We belong to the Jewish Community Center of Buffalo and LOVE it.  Although we are not Jewish, we love the people there and what they provide to the community.  Clementine loves to play with all the kids and run around and it is so great for me to be able to run by butt off, literally.  Not to much of course!  A little junk is always a good thing:)  I am patiently awaiting an acceptance letter from the Elmwood Art Association for the 2009 Elmwood Art Festival.  I am hoping to be accepted.  I live in the GREATEST neighborhood.  It is right in the heart of the city and it is so great because I am able to walk everywhere I need to go.  Which is a good thing considering I said screw you to cars about a year and a half ago.   We are surrounded by kids and the neighborhood is always bustling.  I am hoping in a few years to have my own storefront in the Elmwood District.  Anyone who has heard bad things about Buffalo, ignore them.  It is a great city.  Especially to raise a family.  Well, I have a kid who is attempting to 'paint' my nails as I am writing this.  I think she needs to get outside.  I will write often.  I hope you check back!!
